Jim Rome Clone Report

Clones, Comments, and Moments from Today's Show

Jim Rome is still on Vacation

Petros and Money

Today's guest hosts were Petros Papadakis and Matt "Money" Smith. They are out of L.A. but have a syndicated afternoon/evening show on Fox Sports Radio.

They had only a little clone involvement today.

A few E mails:

".....War Turbo and Laser bench pressing 'Fatros' during commercial breaks..."

Also...a "...hungrily, Kirstie" E mail got through.

Wallet Chains

The guys did a bit on wallet chains. They mentioned Christina Kim, an LPGA golfer, wearing one.

E mail on the subject:

"...you telling me David Wells couldn't wear a wallet chain?" Blaise in KC

Callers

Al in New Jersey talked about the World Cup. He complained about the players going down with "injuries". He also said many teams were playing tentatively. "Do me a favor, grow a pair and play aggressively," he said.

Chuck in Ft. Walton Beach got on and simply asked Petros' opinion about the Iowa Hawkeyes upcoming football season.

"Up All Night"

I believe it was Petros that asked about the song that usually bumps the last segment of the show. J. Stew came on and explained the origins of its use on the show from when Rome used to be on late at night. Thankful for the prompt answer to his question, Petros said, "That is the essence of J. Stew."

Show Close

The guys acknowledged that today was not a typical day in the Jungle.
