Jim Rome Clone Report by Greg in Sun Valley

Clones, Comments, and Moments from Today's Show

MLB Playoffs

Roy Halladay pitches a no hitter against the Reds.
Jim said all the talk about Roy Halladay's post season inexperience sounds silly now. It was Roy's first post season start. Rome called it the "stupidest" thing he's ever seen.

E mail: "...What do you mean, stupidest thing you've ever seen? I know you've seen me at Walmart...or heard me. Signed, Jolene in Farmington."

NFL

Rome told us about a reported incident between Randy Moss and Bill Belichick aboard the flight home Sunday. The coach was said to have gone to speak to Moss only to be met by silence from the receiver. Today, Belichick is denying the reports.

E mail: "Knock, knock. Who's there? Trey. Trey who? Tra-ded." -Blaise

Twitter

Jim is following Doc Mike DiTolla. There was a charity auction with the highest bidder getting Rome to follow him on Twitter. Old schooler and 2 time Smack Off Champion got the win!

Clone Tweets:

"...You are going to follow a clone? Follow him to where. The GED test facility? Hey-O!" -benmanship

"Stu in Manhattan is a perfect example of why everyone besides U of M fans absolutely can't stand the Wolverines." - ptreagan

Shopping with the Lady

Jim talked about Matt Kemp being taken on an 8 hour shopping trip by his girlfriend Rihanna.
For such occasions, Rome says you need: 1. A chair and 2. a cell phone.
Jim also said, "If you can survive it, more often than not it ends in a night of "wrestling". (Then Jim said he was getting a message from his wife Janet, that started, "This bit..." Then Jim said, "Does this mean we're not wrestling tonight?" As he read on, it appeared Janet like the shopping bit, and Jim expressed confidence in a wrestling match.

Text Contest Selections

"Unwar my root canal at 2 p.m. War having the rest of the afternoon off to watch JRIB."

"Dear Jim, nothing wrong with answering a question with a question. Signed, E. Knievel."

"I 'bleeping' hate shopping. Signed, Chris Brown."
