Jim's night
Jim told us about his Tuesday night, "...This year we are right in the middle of South Beach and last night it felt like we were at a house party with hotel rooms...The plan last night was...we do a working dinner. We work. We eat...It was a good plan until...the karoake beach party started right outside our window..." (He said a liquored up guy was "murdering" Journey on the microphone.)  Jim continued, "...Do you know what they chased that karaoke contest with?...a freaking marching band!..."

Interviews

Larry Fitzgerald (Arizona Cardinals)
"...It's extremely difficult," (to not be playing in the Super Bowl) he started. Larry said it has not set in that Kurt Warner's gone (retired). Of Kurt, Larry said, "...everyday he comes to work, he's the same person...with a smile on his face...I noticed there was something different about this person."
Larry credited his summer workouts with helping him deal with adversity in the course of a season.

Jack Youngblood (Retired NFLer)
He spoke of Larry Fitzgerald, "...That's a young guy that I respect...He plays it like it's supposed to be played...
Jack said he would have waited until August if he was Kurt Warner to decide about retirement. Also, Jack talked of his time in the NFL. He said, "...Deacon (Jones) and Merlin (Olson) were my mentors..."

Tim Brown (NFL Hall of Fame Nominee)
"I think I have a pretty good chance...," Tim said of his Hall of Fame chances this year. Of Al Davis, Tim said, "... never from a personal standpoint...I always talked to him about the team..." Later on Al, "One, the guy does have a plan, and two, he's just a guy..."

Jim McMahon (Retired NFL QB)
The former Chicago Bear QB talked about a renewal of "the Super Bowl Shuffle" in a commercial during the Super Bowl.

Chris Cooley (Washinton Redskins)
He was working with Chad Ochocinco on the OCNN (Ochocinco News Network) and had a camera crew with him at his interview with Jim.
He said he is excited to have Mike Shanahan as the new Redskins coach.

Emmitt Smith (Retired NFL RB)
He, too, believes Larry Fitzgerald "does it the right way".
Emmitt talked about overcoming the doubters coming out of college to become the NFL's all time rushing leader.

Kyle's phone

Kyle Brandt lost his phone! He says it was stolen. Jim was cracking on him about it.

Interview

Sam Bradford (NFL prospect, Heisman winner)
Jim asked Sam what he thought about Kyle and his phone. Sam said, "...I think it's definately his fault...That might be like me losing my playbook game week." (Jim had a laugh at that.) The "Boomer...Sooner" topic came up. Sam had some laughs about that too.

Raja Bell (Golden State Warriors)
He is hoping to return to play from an injury by the end of March. He realizes he may be traded at the trade deadline. Raja said he is open to both staying and moving (to a contender). Of Lebron James, Raja said he thinks LeBron will, and should, stay in Cleveland.
