Jim Rome Clone Report by Greg in Sun Valley

Note on today's show

The topic of the day was the return of LeBron James to Cleveland tomorrow when the Heat play the Cavaliers. It started with Jim resetting a question LBJ was asked regarding the possibility of the Cavaliers retiring his jersey.
Rome said, "There's nothing to retire...they burned your jersey in the streets....This guy doesn't get it!....."

E mails, Callers, and Tweets

The first E mail read compared what would happen Thursday to the incident after the Phillies won the World Series when a guy who had climbed onto a traffic light was hit by a thrown bottle of Grey Goose.

Callers

Dave in Cleveland
Dave said they would never get over what LeBron did. "....It's like hating the Steeelers...."

Jim in Akron
"It's going to be a combination of all that's happened...pent up frustration....(we have) ...nothing but misery to fall back on ...I think it's going to be bad..."

The conversation changed early on from "will you ever forgive and move on" to Jim telling Cleveland fans to boo and wear anti-LeBron gear, but not to throw things onto the court...or "cross the line".

Caller

Ben in Cleveland
He said he hopes the fans behave. He then added, "I hope he gets a career ending injury..."

Funny take of day

Rome gave us Joakim Noah's Thankgiving story. He was in Denver and was in or went into a steam room and saw John Elway. Jim played a tape of Noah describing the incident, "...kinda awkward."
Rome said, "...not kinda..It was WAS awkward......Big ups to Joakim and Elway for knowing the #1 rule of steam room: Don't talk!.....sweat out, get out."

Tweet on the topic: (paraphrased)

"Hey John! Time to meet Mr.Noah. Sweat it up horse face...Insert Trapper here."
