Jim Rome Clone Report by Greg in Sun Valley

Clones, quotes, and moments from today's show

Clones

Jesus in Chicago

Early in the show, Jim told us that Jesus had made another song parody called "Clones Without a Take" set to the tune of "Eyes Without a Face" by Billy Idol. Jim said he thought that Jesus had "retired". Jim questioned that and said Jesus was like a boxer and would be back. However, Jesus was calling this song his "walk off shot".

It wasn't until the second hour that Jim played the song. Rome said it wasn't one of Jesus' better efforts. E mailers cracked on it too.

Cheryl in Austin

She is known for her song parodies, such as "Nezrin not Mezrin" where she chides Nezrin for failing to use the name "Jackson" in her 2009 Smack Off call. She called today to make her case for the Smack Off. Cheryl did not sing today.  However, she did guarantee that if she got in she would finish above "Victim in NoCal" in the standings.

Later, Jim said that if she expects to take down a "Big Dog", she's going to have to "run some junk...and get after some people and some things."

E Mails

Before the playing of Jesus' song, but after Cheryl's call, Jim read an E mail from Vic in NoCal that said, "War the possible 'Vic in NoCal' / 'Jesus in Chicago' collaboration.

Eric in Falls Church got in again. He cracked on Jesus in Chicago and then warred his Facebook page (www.facebook.com/ericinfc) and, of course, warred Jim linking his page to Eric's. Jim, of course said that wouldn't happen.
