USC Sanctions

E mails on the subject: "Dear Jim, Oh my God! USC is toast...they got absolutely hammered..."
Facebook comment: "Cheat on!"
E mail on another subect: "Before the 'Bogey Man' goes to sleep, he checks the closet for Strasburg."
E Mail Issues
Having difficulties with "Rome@haveatake.com", Jim directed E mailers to "Romeyyourock@gmail.com"
This has been the back up E mail address for some time. The line comes from a show a few years back when Rome was on a "Ladies only" run of calls. After several ladies called, Jim went to "Rosemary" in Houston. "She" was breathy and simply said, "Romey you rock...," before the buzzer came down.
The dude caller lives in infamy! Today, Jim said that Kyle Brandt lists that call as his favorite since he has been working for the show.
Each time Jim went to give out the back up E mail address, he used the sound byte, followed by him saying, "...at g mail dot com."
Questions came in asking how you spell "you" the breathy way "Rosemary" said it. Rome responded in a "Rosemary" like breathy voice, "Y-o-u".
NBA Finals
Game 4 is tonight. Today, Rome talked about Celtics coach Doc Rivers taking a run at the officials and Derek Fisher. A reporter asked Rivers about what Fisher was doing to run through picks or to draw the foul when guarding Ray Allen. "Derek?...," said Rivers. "Derek Fisher," clarified the report. "Well, besides flopping?," asked Rivers.
Rome said, "I think that comes off as whining...He looks like a whiner."
After that, Jim asked the clones if they recognized the "celebrity" reporter that posed the question. Many guesses came in:"Dan Shaughnessy?"..."Plashke?"
..."Rachel in Houston?"..."Is that Vic the Brick?" Signed, feelin' you! To this, Jim said, "You know it's VTB when it's VTB!"
Later, we found out that the journalist was Chris Mannix, who has appeared in the Jungle before.
Denver Station Trip
On Monday, June 21, Jim will visit and broadcast the show from the Denver affiliate. Yesterday, Rome told the story of Jessica in Denver not being able to get tickets for the after-event from the local affiliate. Today, she called the show, talked about her plight, joked that maybe now the Colorado Buffaloes could win a conference title, then called out Lisa in Indy.
Lisa in Indy promptly called in. She said she didn't know what was said, but wanted to ask Jim to come to Indy. She didn't say how she heard she was mentioned on the air. Lisa closed with a triple U about guys finding out she is "Lisa in Indy" then saying they can remove there socks quickly.
