Today the Sklar brothers, Randy and Jason, started with a take on Evander Holyfield. They said he "vowed to punch Global Warming in the face". They joked that Evander had positioned it that anyone who fights him is against the environment. Then much was made about a Taco Bell commercial that Holyfield is in.
Jay Mohr, who guest hosted on Wednesday, called in to tell the Sklars he appreciates their comedy and prefers them to the other guest hosts that have been on this week.
The guys referenced the "Sklones" , "A subset of the clones" that are big on the Sklars.
Jeff Feagles
What started as just a mention of Jeff Feagles (NFL punter) name became a topic/joke. First they said he is old and that he voted for John McCain because he identifies with him. Then came the rhymes. Boston Legal should have been "Boston Feagle". They said he should open a bar and call it "The Feagle Beagle", A retro bar where you can bring your dog. Next, "Legal Feagle", a personal injury law practice where you can "Kick your troubles to the curb".
This thread came up a few more times in the show.
