Today on the Show

Matt " Money" Smith and Petros Papadakis guest hosted the show today. They are from LA and host a syndicated radio show on Fox Sports Radio.

They started off poking a little fun at Jim Rome. Matt said "fancy" people take off a week and a day for vacation. Petros replied,"You think Bill O'Reilly takes just a week? NO." Matt went on, "Big time dudes do Monday to recover..."
They talked a lot of football on the show. They said they like to think of it as their specialty. (Petros is a former USC tailback and does color commentary on Pac 10 football games on Fox Sports. Matt has called football games on the radio.)
In the first segment the guys talked about retro jerseys. Matt said  retro jerseys were made just to be able to sell more jerseys.

The Raiders
   JaMarcus Russell was brought up. He has been very inconsistent for the Raiders after being a #1 overall pick and a contract hold out.  Matt said 1 bowl game put him in position for a big contract. Petros said Russell may be the biggest bust in the NFL.

Troy Palumalu
   Petros let us know that he took Troy to his first concert.

Spencer Tillman (CBS Sports)
   Spencer came on to talk college football. The interview started with Tim Tebow's injury. He took a shot to the back of the head on Saturday and, according to Spencer, was out cold for 45 seconds. Florida does have a bye week coming, but Spencer feels that Tebow could be affected by that injury for several weeks. Asked about how he sees the SEC, Tillman said ,"I think it's Alabama, then everyone else, especially with Tebow's injury.  Of USC, Tillman said their "intellectual property" was lost with last years offensive coordinator, Steve Sarkissian, leaving to become the head coach of the Washington Huskies.

Brian Baldinger(Fox Sports, NFL network)

Petros asked him about Brett Favre. Brian said he thought Favre's last second TD pass for the win on Sunday should be in Favre's top ten plays in his resume.  On Michael Vick, Brian said he still had not seen enough of Vick to be able to tell if he still has the arm strength or the explosive running capability.
Further, Brian agreed with the guys assessment of JaMarcus Russell. Baldinger, however, does like how Mark Sanchez of the Jets has played so far.
