Clones, Comments, and Moments from Today's Show

Jay started the show saying he wanted to take a lot of calls. Two guys he said he wanted to call the show today:

Steve in Houston - I believe Jay was referring to Steve in H Town, the proprietor of the Stucknut website. Jay said, "I like that guy."

Vic in NoCal - Jay said that he wouldn't run smack on Vic. He added that one thing he has learned in the Jungle is: Scoreboard.

To my knowledge, neither called today.

Callers

Jay took a lot of calls today. I will list only a few.

Dennis in Maine

  He began his call giving Jay props. He said he loved Jay's show "Gary Unmarried". Then....Jay said, "Is that it?" Dennis then brought up the Yankees and asked Jay how he thought they would do this year.

Dave in Albuquerque

   He said to Jay, "I am to you as Marty is to Jim." Dave called it a "bro-crush". He even told us that he stayed home today since Jay was hosting the show. We also found out that Dave was in his Raider pants or pajamas. A Raider Fan was what he proclaimed himself.

After the call, Jay began to crack on the Raiders and Raider fan!

Boatie in Pearland

   "What's up, you sumbitch?," is how Boatie began. He then invited Jay out to Steve in H Town's party, and later added a "nothin' but love for you" to Jay.

Sean G. in Denver

   He took shots at today's previous callers, then questioned why Tim Tebow's jersey is selling so quickly. He ended by asking Jay to imitated the guy on ESPN that says, "Brought to you by..."

Eddie in Boise

   Eddie got in and asked Jay what some of his most odd or memorable comedy gigs were. This led to a segment where Jay told us he was heckled at a 

bowling alley by Chuck Wepner.

E mail

The E mail Jay liked the best today referenced the story of Ken Griffey Jr. falling asleep in the club house during a game. "...I was just catching up on Gary Unmarried. Signed, Ken Griffey Jr."

Jay told us that Jim tweeted, "Cue up Brady Quinn...Now I'm done!! Excused from Jury Duty! How do you like me now?"
