Today's Show

Michael Vick signs with the Philadelphia Eagles! The Jim Rome Show opened with this story, of course. Jim hit on how the prevailing thought was that Vick may sign with a small market team to avoid the glare of the spotlight. This signing blows that out of the water. Michael Vick has been thrust into a market known for unforgiving and demanding fans. Much was discussed on the program about whether or not Donovan McNabb was as happy or on board with the signing of Vick as he says he is.

Jim mentioned, but did not elaborate on Seattle Mariner Adrian Beltre suffering....let's just say a "groin" area injury.

E-Mails

Vic in NoCal had the E mail of the day, in my opinion, although Jim does not appear to award an E mail of the Day anymore. Vic let loose a tirade against Entitlement Eric and other E mailers. Eric's request for bumper music before and after his E mails did not sit well with Vic. Vic insisted that the show was a caller driven show and E mailers should come out from behind the safety of their computers and call the show.

Result: A chuckle from Jim but no warning or block.
