Jim Rome Clone Report

Today on the Show

Jim Rome started of with the Chicago at Denver preseason game. He said,"Hey Bronco fans, one word, UH OH!" (Followed by Carl Lewis' famous UH OH! clip). Jim went on, "Jay Cuyler got over huge last night in Denver." Rome described how Cutler went in where 80,000 furious Bronco fans were giving him a collective thumbs down. "He walks in as a villian and walks out carrying a bloody sword." Bronco fans were obviously worked up. Jim called it the "Super Bowl of Hate".

Michigan Football Coach Rich Rodriguez cried at his press conference today.  Players had anonymously gone to the press saying he was working them over the (NCAA ) allowable 20 hours a week.

Raiders lost 45-7 to the Saints (45-0 at one point)

Fantasy Football got a lot of run again today. (Of course that means the Fantasy Alert!)

   He restated that Donovan McNabb is the #1 QB in Philly. When asked why he took Michael Vick, he said they had a good locker room that could handle it and he believes in 2nd chances. He cited personal experience dealing with young men who have needed a 2nd chance.

   Scott spoke how Mike Maddux's help played a part in his 14 wins this season.

   Rome asked him about the Rich Rodriguez situation. He said the Michigan 6 players that went to the press had stories that corroborated each other.
