Today on the Show

Jim started off with takes on the NFL Preseason.
   Kicking  and kickers are "in". AJ Trapasso is leading the way. He's the guy that ran a fake punt  40 yards
   for a TD in the Hall of Fame game. This last weekend he was in the news for hitting Jerry Jones' $40
   million jumbotron with a punt in the new Cowboy Stadium. Jones said it wasn't too low and the kicker did
   it on purpose.
Brandon Marshall still wants out of Denver.

Kyle Orton let loose a crazy left handed pass...that  didn't work.

Lions players were fighting each other on the sidelines before a game.

Bo Pelini (Nebraska football coach) He talked about wanting to bring Nebraska back to national prominence.

Chris Paul (Hornet guard) Chris let us in on his busy summer which included having a son, visiting China, and taking college summer classes.

Steve Young (Former 49ers QB) : He was asked by Jim about Brett Favre. Steve gave insight into what was like to retire and feel like he could still play in the NFL.

Kyle Brandt

Kyle came in and talked about getting "permitted" to ride a motorcycle in California. He said the course and getting the permit was alarmingly easy. However, he admitted to being the only one in the class to crash. With a permit, Kyle can't ride at night or with a passenger on the back. Kyle said most of the e mails on the subject were about J. Stew being on the back of Kyle's motorcycle or in a side car.

  " I was in Princeton , New Jersey this past weekend for a seminar and I saw a guy wearing a black beret coming out of Whole Foods with a French baggette and a 12 pack of Diet Fresca. He quickly mounted his powder blue Vespa and he sped off before I could ask him to do his J. Stew impression"
