Today on the Show

First topic was Tom Cable and...the Raiders. now a report that he told Randy Hansen, quote,"I am going to kill you. I am going to kill you." ...as he was choking him.
Rome's first words on that," I am going to kill you (repeated) while choking a guy is not exactly the same as rolling him out of a chair and smacking his face up against a cabinet...and definately not the same as "nothing happened", which is what Tom Cable tried to say."
Jim also spoke of the "entire culture" of the Raiders that breeds such things. He said it, the culture, starts from the Al Davis down. Randy Hansen was said to be Al Davis' guy. It was mentioned again that Jon Gruden also had problems with him.

Kyle Brandt

Kyle came on microphone briefly and mentioned taking a call from "Vinny Mack" while doing some call screening. Later Jim asked him what he was doing this weekend. Kyle said he was taking a weekend long course on how to ride a motorcycle.

Eddie in Boise

Jim informed the audience that Eddie had been on hold for 6 days waiting to improve upon his infamous first call. Over an hour later, with E mailers calling for Jim to "free Eddie", he was put on the air. Unfortunately, after a very long intro, he said he was now going to "get to his take". Shortly thereafter he got RUN!

Michael Young (Texas Ranger shortstop) Jim brought up that he heard a line on Entourage using the name Michael Young. They both wondered if it was about him. Later another Michael Young, a friend of an Entourage castmember, called in and said the line was about him. This was confirmed later.

Ray Ratto ( San Francisco Chronicle) spoke about the Raiders
